Obituary for Tammy Jo Powell (Fadeley)

Tammy Jo Powell, 45, Bunker Hill, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019.

Born May 8, 1974 in Ranson, WV, she is the daughter of Richard Allen Fadeley of Shepherdstown and Janie Ann Poling Fadeley Wiles and husband, Bob of Tunnelton, WV.

She had been employed with BB&T. She loved helping others, playing with her grandchildren, four wheeling, rainbows, and butterflies. She had a tremendous faith in God.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Ebby Alan Powell; one son, Ralph D. “DJ” Pruitt, Jr. of Charles Town; one daughter, Sabrea Ann Funk and husband, J.T. of Tunnelton; two step-daughters, Kayla Renner and husband, Steven, and Kelsey Swiger and husband, Christian all of Gerrardstown; three grandchildren, Wyett and Ayla Funk, and Brinley Renner; and two brothers, Richard “Buddy” Fadeley, Jr. and wife, Kelly of Winchester, VA, and Robby W. Wiles and Melissa of Tunneltown.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Geraldine Poling; and mother-in-law, Peggy Josephine Powell Pruitt.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the South Berkeley Chapel.

Interment will be in Gerrardstown Cemetery.
