Obituary for Teresa O Whitacre (Orsini)
Teresa O. Whitacre, 86, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2019 at Harmony.
Born May 31, 1933 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Arsenio and Rachele Perla Orsini.
She was a 1951 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School.
She was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America.
She is survived by her husband, Patrick Whitacre; four children, Cynthia A. Bonfili and husband, Greg, Deborah K. Smeltzer and husband, Ted, James P. Whitacre and wife, Sherry, and Patricia L. Snyder and husband, John; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Tito J. Orsini; and one sister, Giovanna “Jenny” Morgan.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019 at St. Leo Catholic Church with Father Alfred Obiudu, celebrant.
Interment prayers will be said in Rosedale Cemetery.
