Obituary for Donald Lee Runkles
Donald Lee Runkles, 78, of Hedgesville, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Clary Grove Nursing Home.
Born June 25, 1941, in Hampshire County WV, he was the son of the late Herbert Eugene Runkles and Ethel Nathalee (Lee) Runkles.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Imogene (Ashton) Runkles; one son, Bryan Lee Runkles and wife Jane; one daughter, Donna Marie Pill and husband Rick; five grandchildren, Joshua, Rachel, Rebecca, Jacob, and Jared; four great-grandchildren, Colin, Isaiah, Virginia and Raelynn; two brothers, Galen Runkles and Doug Runkles; and one sister, Cathy Slonaker.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Runkles; and one sister, Karen (Sissy) Gray.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 12, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Dick officiating.
Family will receive friends two hours prior to service.
Interment will be held at Hedgesville Assembly of God Cemetery in Hedgesville, WV.
