Obituary for David Harrison Campbell
Our beloved David H. Campbell, of Shepherdstown, WV, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 26, 1975 and a lifelong resident of Jefferson County.
David is survived by his cousins with whom he shared a close bond, Dana Caniford Phillips, Cody Webb, and Evan Gilbert and his “legacy dog,” Buddy Boy, who originally belonged to his beloved Aunt Dee. He also leaves behind Great Uncle Albert Johnson, Great-Aunt Norma Johnson, Great-Aunt Pat Johnson and numerous cousins. David was a good friend to many people and is remembered as a “great guy.”
David makes his journey to join mother, Victoria Campbell Clevenger, stepfather, Billy Jo Clevenger, Grandmother Evelyn Campbell Johnson, aunt Martha Evans Caniford, and aunt Karen “Dee” Walters.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 27, 2019 at 2:00pm at the home of Tom Mercer at 105 Landon Way in Kearneysville.
In lieu of flowers, Dana asks that a donation to the Jefferson County Humane Society be made. David had a great love for all animals and this is the perfect way to honor him.
