Obituary for Linda Darlene Ortman (Price)
Linda Darlene Ortman, 66, of Harpers Ferry, passed away at home, Monday, June 17, 2019, while under the care of Hospice. Born January 22, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter Marie Powers Price, of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, and the late Elmo Jessie Price.
Linda was of the Pentecostal faith. She had worked as a caregiver. She loved her children and grandchildren. She liked cleaning and reading and was a caretaker up to the end.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Henry Lee Clark, Jr., of Charles Town; two daughters: Stacey Watson, and husband Donald, also of Charles Town, and Crystal Slother, and husband Donald, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; three brothers: Larry Dean Price, and wife Cindy, of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, Roger “Pickey” Price, and wife Deona, of Lloydsville, Pennsylvania, and David Tobery, and wife Dale Lynn, of Manchester, Maryland; one sister, Evelyn Southerly, and husband Frank, of Tennessee, and six grandchildren: Kameron Clark, Jada Mills, Kailey Joiner, Emma Clark, Hunter Mills, and Mason Watson.
A funeral service will be held 12pm, Thursday, June 20, 2019, at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Pastor David Price officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
