Lisa, as I write this to you this morning, I realize how difficult the days ahead are going to be for you. Less than a year ago, the Evans family was going through the same thing. I didn't know that you're Daddy passed until I got here on Saturday and by then it was too late to go to his services. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences. There was never a nicer man than your daddy. My Dad and "Parky" would drink coffee and sit at our kitchen table and talk for hours. The one memory, other than the one that my sister shared. Was one that Dad said, he not only spoke quickly, but he grabbed a fly out of mid air and slapped it across his knee and then brushed it off. All in one solid motion. So he was quick as could be. Knowing that you're Dad is reunited with your Mom is a little easier to handle. But it still doesn't make it any easier knowing that your Sweet Daddy isn't here. I offer my shoulder if you should need to cry or just talk about those old times we all had with our Daddys. Please if you should need anything, please do not hestitate to call. 586-243-8918 is my cell phone number. May God's grace and prayers comfort you.

Lisa, I cannot adequate express my sorrow for you in the loss of your phenomenal father, "Parky". My dad was always so fond of him and they shared many memories of working at Corning together. I remember my father always saying that no one talks faster than Parky. Somehow, I don't recall that, but what I do recall is his gentle disposition and his kindness. I can honestly say I know how you feel, after losing my dad last year. All we can do is to continue to carry their torch and let their light shine. Your father was a good man and I know many will share in that sentiment. Please know I will hold you up in prayer and wishing the days ahead offer you comfort and peace knowing that your father is in Heaven, reunited with your mother and all the loved ones who passed before him.

Although there's little one can say
And little words can do,
Still, hope these warm
and friendly thoughts
Will help to comfort you...
For this is meant to let you know
that through the days to be
You'll be thought of many times
With deepest sympathy.
