I am so sorry to hear of my cousin, Steve, passing away recently. I have such fond memories of him during my early years in Maryland. He was like an older brother to me when I was very young. He had a great heart. I pray for his family and peace.

Hi, I’m very sorry for your loss. I know that losing someone you love can be very difficult. Personally I’ve found that during times like these, the Bible can bring comfort. At Isaiah 41:10 it says “Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious, for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you, I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness.” So this scripture reminds us that God is always there for us and we can go to him in prayer whenever and he will comfort us. Also Jw.org is a Bible based website with many videos, publications, and articles that are specifically made for grief. I’ve been able to find many things to help me in the past on Jw.org and I’m sure you will be able to as well.
