Obituary for Myrtie Virginia Keller (Maupin)
Myrtie Virginia Keller, 91, of Martinsburg, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019, at Clary Grove Nursing Home. Born February 23, 1928, in Shepherdstown, WV, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur J. Maupin and Frances E. Houchin.
Myrtie was an owner and operator of several beauty salons from 1959 for over 50 years and a proud member of St. Luke’s United Methodists Church since March 7th, 1954, under pastor Howard L. Fulk.
She is survived by a son; Steven Howard, five grandchildren; Lee Wayne Howard, Emily Michelle Howard, Danie Armstrong, Bruce Armstrong, and Christopher Bowers and a stepdaughter; Donalda (Donnie) Waterhouse.
In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband Donald Keller, a daughter Betsy Armstrong, husband Daniel Armstrong, three brothers, Robert, Randolph, and Kenneth Maupin and grandson Kelton Howard.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Pleasant View Memory Gardens with Rev. Michael Cantley officiating.
