Obituary for Barbara Ann Whetsell (Lease)
Barbara Ann Whetsell, 82, of Falling Waters, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 21, 2019.
Born December 25, 1936 in Keyser, she was the daughter of the late Ira Edward Lease and Bertha Ethel (Fazenbaker) Lease.
She was a member of Souls Harbor Church of God.
She was a domestic engineer for over 62 years.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Leroy Clifton Whetsell; three sons, Clifton E. Whetsell and wife, Coreena, of Myrtle Beach , SC, David W. Whetsell and wife, Sherry, of Manassas Park, Virginia, and Keith A. Whetsell and wife, Dixie, of Lyman, South Carolina; daughter Kristine M. Manning of Pass Christian, Mississippi; seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna J. Whetsell; brother, Joel F. Lease; and half-sister, Jacqueline M. Dawson.
Services will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Souls Harbor Church of God, 8900 Portner Ave, Manassas, VA 20110 with Pastor Eric Medford officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Stonewall Memory Gardens.
