Anthony “Tink” Wayne Howell, 55 of Ranson passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at his home. Born October 18, 1963 in Ranson, he was the son of Rita Ann Miller Howell of Charles Town and Terry Wayne Howell and wife Patsy of Brunswick, Maryland. Anthony served in the U S Army and then worked for William A. Hazel Construction. He trained horses at the Charles Town Race Track. Tink was so kind and generous, loved being around family and friends. He was a big fan of Baltimore Orioles and Pittsburg Steelers, he loved bowling and working with his horses. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife and best friend of 10 years, Kathleen Patricia Hansen Howell, son Michael Howell of Charles Town, daughter, Brandy Kern of Harpers Ferry, brothers; Steven Howell of Charles Town and Christopher Howell and wife Laura of Austin, Texas, sister Teresa Beachly and husband Donald of Keedysville, Maryland, aunts; Teresa Haynes and son Tim, Dorothy and Anna Grove and Linda Howell, mother in law, Pat Fredo, stepson, Patrick Outen and fiancé Carla, granddaughter, Haley Outen. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Dr. Henry Christie officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Chapel.
