Obituary for Joan M Burkhart
Joan M. Burkhart, 74, of Martinsburg, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born September 22, 1944 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Belle Burkhart.
She attended Pikeside United Methodist Church.
She is survived by six brothers, George Burkhart, Freddie Burkhart, Douglas "Topper" Burkhart, Kenneth Burkhart, Richard Burkhart, and Robert Burkhart; and five sisters, Ann Jones, Phyllis Risinger, Beatrice Largent; Altha Lee Perkins, and Idabell Bohrer.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Burkhart.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00AM at Pikeside United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Ball officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to her beloved Pikeside United Methodist Church, 25 Paynes Ford Road, Martinsburg, WV 25405.
