Di was and will always be remembered for her beautiful bright contagious smile. Di always smiled and had pleasantries with whom ever she met. Di was a bright star on a cloudy night that always shined through the darkness, she was a true Angel on earth. The bright star never went dim until her last night on earth. Di never complained and always had a positive spin on any situation. Di was a shining star in dark situations, able to offer a calming presence. Di was committed to the LORD, family, friends and all her students that she came in contact with at the schools, she touched many lives with her compassion and enthusiasm for life, with sincere heart felt caring for everyone she met. Di's compassion and enthusiasm for life will live on in all of us, because she touched everyone's heart w/ her caring and loving soul. We are lucky to call her a friend or sister on the softball field and/or golf course, we are lucky to have shared in her beautiful enthusiasm for life.
GOD BLESS YOU, and congratulations on earning your wings. I hope as a Angel, you will look over us and bless us w/ your Spirit, as we press on w/ our journey on earth. I will look for that bright shinning star every night !!

We were saddened to hear about Di’s passing. She helped our son through OT years ago when he was a student at Bass-Hoover elementary school. She was the best OT he worked with over the years — very caring, patient and cheerful. We consider ourselves fortunate to have known her, even for that short time. May perpetual light shine upon her.
