Wayne C. Ohler of Ranson passed away March 14, 2019 in the Frederick Memorial Hospital. Born September 3, 1936 in Frederick, Maryland, he was the son of the late Thurman and Hazel Ohler. Wayne loved to fish in the Gulf of Florida with his best friend and brother in-law, Ed Bartee. He was a mechanic and graduated from Middletown High School in Maryland. He also served in the Army. He was of Protestant faith. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Reba Bartee Ohler and his two children, Chrystal Fink and Vincent Ohler, stepchildren, Ray Edwards, Rodney Edwards, Rowena Youmans, Rorie Castellon and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister Beverly Beachly, daughter Jackie Ohler, step-daughter Rene Creager, stepson Regan Edwards and grandson Justin Edwards. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Jefferson Chapel with the Pastor Bucky Chapman officiating. Interment with military honors will be at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will be received at 10 a.m., prior to service.
