Obituary for Jackie

Jacquolyn Irene (Wild) Lord of Martinsburg died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Hospice of The Panhandle Inpatient Facility.

Born September 25, 1930 in Martinsburg she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Lucy (Lincoln) Wild.

Ms. Lord received her LPN licensure in 1969 and was employed by, and eventually retired from, the V. A. Center in Martinsburg and then went on to care for her family and friends at their homes.

She is survived by her four children: Kenda (Miller) Merceruio, Todd Lord, Lisa (Lord) Kief and partner Jerry Lamb, and Craig Lord; six grandchildren, Joseph Merceruio and partner Chad Mullen, C.J. Lord and wife Justyn (Politano) Lord, Jessica Lord, Amanda Lord and fiancé Code Renteria,Taylor Lord and Andrew Todd Merceruio; six great-grandchildren, Reece Gavin and Victor Todd Mullen Merceruio, Melissa Brooklyn Chester, Alexander Thomas Rascoe, Kaelyn Isabelle and Colin Andrew Lord; special nieces Sandy (Dearing) Jones and Michela (Nichols) Kursey; a special friend Cory Stotler and a number of other nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Ida Wild, brothers Ben and Edward Wild, sisters Coral (Wild) Nichols and Gay (Wild) Dillow, and son-in-law Ronald Victor Merceruio.

The family would like to recognize the compassionate and professional staff at Hospice of the Panhandle for their most comforting and loving care.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Barn at Mahogany Hill, 3032 Arden Nollville Road, Inwood, WV.
