Obituary for Irving Cox
Irving Cox, 83, of Bunker Hill, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Berkeley Medical Center.
Born November13, 1935, in Romney, WV, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ethel Haines Cox.
He was a husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Cox, with 50 years of marriage; one son, Raymond Cox; two daughters, Betty DeRidder and husband Craig, Betty Dominquez; brothers, Johnny Cox and Clinton Cox; sisters, Mary Shepherd, Virginia Fromel, Margie Scherfel, Katherine Marieanna; and eight grandchildren.
Three siblings, Francis, Ethel, and Tommy preceded him in death.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
