Timothy Burton Keller, 54, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019.
Born in Prince George’s County, Maryland. He grew up in Beltsville, Maryland, graduated from High Point High School in 1983.
He was employed by an iron works company in Bladensburg until the company closed down. Tim attended and graduated from the Police Academy in Prince George’s County in 1992 after which he was employed by the County Health Department until a back injury forced him to retire.
He is survived by his life partner, Johnna Wingard; mother, Jerilyn Rock and husband Tom Rock; sons, Timothy Corey Keller and Robert Blevins; daughters Sami Jo and Arissa Wingard; sisters Rebecca King (husband Kevin), Laurie Size all of Stevensville, MD; and brothers Dean Keller of Asheboro, NC and Chris Keller of Hagerstown, MD. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Edgar (Burt) Keller, Jr.; his oldest son, Richard Burton Keller, and grandparents, Ruth and Edgar Keller, and Joe and Joella Vaughan.
Tim and family moved to Hedgesville, WV in 2003 in order to be available to help his parents with the grandparents who had moved in with them. Also, he and Johnna were always helping their neighbors with yard work and support when/wherever needed.
His wishes were to be cremated and the family plans to have a memorial at later day to be determined.
