Dorothy Elizabeth Simpson Wilson, 86, of Bunker Hill, passed away Tuesday February 19, 2019 at Rose Hill in Berryville VA.

Born February 7, 1933 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Clyde R. Simpson and Bessie Frances Simpson.

She is survived by two daughters Debbie McMahon and husband Bob, Pam Sencindiver and husband Jeff; one brother Earl M. Simpson; and one sister Janet Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Carl W. Ridings and widowed by her second husband Raymond T. Wilson; six brothers, Bernard, Rudolph, Clifton, Marvin, Heyward and twin brother Harlan Simpson; and two sisters Berkeley Gay and Mary L. Kidwell.

There will be no formal viewing. Her daughters wish that you remember Dorothy the way she was, not the person that she had become as a result of Alzheimer’s.

Graveside Services will be held Monday February 25, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in Bunker Hill Cemetery with Rev. Danny Breidenbaugh officiating.

In lieu of flowers, to honor Dorothy’s memory the daughter’s wish that you spend a day with your loved ones, give them a hug, tell them that you love them and make a new memory that you can hold on to.
