Larklyn Earl Burke, 83, of Martinsburg, WV passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019.

Larklyn was the son of the late Justin Burke and Estella Gibson.

He was kind and giving; a hardworker; always well dressed.

He was a foreman of agriculture working for 30 years in the orchards in the Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Elizabeth Lee Burke; one son, Alton Burke of Hagerstown MD; seven daughters Erica Alexis and husband Francky of Martinsburg, WV; Petrine Hylton and husband Hugh of McDonough, GA; Denise Burke-Collins of England; Jasmine Burke Williams and husband Patrick of Boston, MA; Myrell Burke of Boston MA; Claudia Burke Drangsland of West Palm Beach FL and Dana Hobday and husband John of Berkeley Springs, WV; 22 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister Delores Burke of Portland, Jamaica. He was like a father to Owen Nelson of Hyannis, MA.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Burke.

Services and interment are private.
