Obituary for Paul Branson Fuss

Paul Branson Fuss, 89, of Hedgesville, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at the Winchester Medical Center.

Born January 15, 1930 in Kittanning, PA, he was the son of the late George Branson Fuss and Agnes Mae Richard Fuss.

He was a member of the Sharpsburg Bible Church.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and later went on to retire as a machinist for Mack Truck. After retirement he worked at the Martinsburg Journal and enjoyed woodworking.

He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Hilda Pearl Payne Fuss; two sons, Gerald P. Fuss and wife Vikki of Bunker Hill, and Jeffrey T. Fuss and wife Rebecca of Martinsburg; two daughters, Judy Custer and husband Edwin of Martinsburg, Patty Custer and husband Dan of Hedgesville; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert W. Fuss of Hedgesville; and three sisters Carol Rankin of Berkeley Springs, Marjorie Braswell of Martinsburg, and Linda K. Fuss of Hedgesville.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard D. Fuss; and three sisters, Shirley Carter, LaDonna Courtney, and Norma J. Lloyd.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Renner officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
