Condolence: To My Sister, Teresa and Sweet Niece, Emily,
I can only imagine the feelings you're experiencing. It's difficult enough losing a friend, let alone family member. The mere thought of losing my husband and or loving father weighs on my heart. Lenny, as we all know, he was a gentle giant. His infectious laughter was one in a million. We all loved to hear him laugh, however the past 7 months even though he was hurting, he still managed to have a sense of humor. When I walked into the room on Monday and I asked him if he knew who I was, and he looked confused...I thought oh no, but he winked and mouthed the words, "I know who you are" and we laughed and told me he loved me. My husband, Ken and Lenny were the best of friends. We always looked forward to visiting when we were in town because those two were two peas in a pod and Ken would not get into trouble because my sister, Teresa would say, "they are just having fun" and that is exactly what he would be doing. Having fun with his buddy. I will forever miss our dear Lenny, but we will make sure the his memory lives on forever. Heaven gained such a sweet angel and I know that he will still be Teresa and Emily's protector from heaven. We all know that your parents were waiting for you as well as my Dad. No more suffering. Rest In Peace Lenny. We all love you and you will be missed greatly.
