Willetta “Billie” Lorraine Lewis, 98, of Bunker Hill, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.

Born May 26, 1920 in Green Spring, VA she was the daughter of the late William Brown and Ester McCarty Brown.

She was a member of Paynes Chapel United Methodist Church.

She had been employed with Clearbrook Woolen Mills; Musselman Apple Plant; and sold produce at the Winchester Farmers Market.

She is survived by one son, Daniel Lewis; one daughter, Leah Walker; one grandchild, Marcus Minghini; and seven step-grandchildren, Hays Lewis, Jennifer Lewis, Alison Dow, Kirsten Thompson, Dawn Michelle Phillips (Shelly), Charles Walker, Jr., and Rebecca Bailey; and daughter-in-law, Mary Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lee Lewis; step-son, Roger Lewis; one grandson, James Minghini III; and step-granddaughter, Leigh Ann Lewis.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor Dawn Reedy officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
