Want to give you & your family members my condolences for the loss of James. I didn't know or met him, but I know his sister, Carol. I have known her for quite sometime now. Especially, at Seven Sorrows Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Middletown, Pa.

Condolence: I first met Jim as a member of the Hedgesville Volunteer Fire Department. Sometimes I would sit with him for hours as he kept me so intrigued, fascinated, and entertained with the stories he would tell. He could always make me laugh. He will be greatly missed. We share in this time of grief but also share in the love and memories of Jim. Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength.

Condolence: Jim was my preceptor when I went through the paramedic program. His knowledge taught me many skills and his wisdom and caring taught me many more things over the years. His and Linda's friendship are gifts I will treasure always. God Bless and rest you Doc.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked with Jim many many times over the years. I was always glad to know that if something "bad" was coming into the ER that Jim McQuaid was riding with them, knowing that if they had a chance at a good pre ER outcome that your Dad would see they got it. He was funny, quirky, and smart...you can be very proud of him. R.I.P. my friend....
