Condolences

Condolence From: Anne Montague
Condolence: Dorothy was a very special Rosie the Riveter in the many we have found, gotten to know, and introduced to their communities and America.

She was the first to tell us that when she riveted airplanes at Fairchild Industries in Hagerstown, the workers repeated, "We pull better when we pull together." We have used that over and over for 10 years as we have encouraged Americans to pull together by getting to know Rosies in the very short time we have left with them.

She voted on several issues that Rosies decided, such as what tree and what bird species best represent Rosies, and she visited the museum in Hagerstown where we saw the planes she riveted.

She is a fine example of the quality of women who helped behind the scenes to preserve freedom.

Condolence: Dear Jackie, Steve and family: We are so very sorry for the loss of your precious loved one! Dot was such a beautiful lady. We always looked for her every Sunday at Vanville and so enjoyed her sitting behind us. She was always such a "lady"!

Please know that we are thinking of everyone and wish we could be present to say our good-bye's to such a beautiful soul. May God be with you!

Your South Carolina Friends,

Ann and Linnie
