George Edward Zimmerman, 82, of Hedgesville, passed away on January 6, 2019.

Born April 2, 1936 in Sandy Spring, Maryland he was the son of the late Nora (Craver) Zimmerman.

He was a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Charlla Elizabeth (Cline) Zimmerman. Four grandchildren two great grandchildren and one brother Leroy Zimmerman.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one son, Gary Wayne Zimmerman.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home

Services will be held Thursday January 10, 2019 at 10:00AM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Kelley officiating.
Military graveside honors will be held at 2:00PM at Rocky Gap National Cemetery.
