Obituary for Oletta Virginia Stottlemyer (Miller)
Oletta Virginia Stottlemyer, 80, of Martinsburg passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born May 28, 1938 in Martinsburg, WV she was the daughter of the late Pola Carp Miller and Emma Eliza Butts Miller.
She attended Full Gospel Pentecostal Church at Four Mile Woods, Martinsburg.
She attended Hedgesville High School and received her GED from James Rumsey Vocational Technical Center. She enjoyed country line dancing and was a member of the Senior Kickers and Bootstompers.
She is survived by her husband John Stottlemyer; one daughter, Brenda Donaldson and husband Scott; two sons, Charles “Chuck” DuBose and wife Nina, and Larry DuBose and wife Rose; five grandchildren, Beth Ann Warren, Michelle Stewart, Julie Wood, Glenn Taylor, and Jacob DuBose; and five great-grandchildren, Brooke Ryan, Dustin Sims, Destiny Warren, Josie DuBose, and Lexi Marcum.
She was preceded in death by one son, William Bartley, Jr.; one grandson, Travis Bartley; and was the last of her immediate family.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the South Berkeley Chapel with Pastor Chuck Donivan officiating.
Interment will be in Gerrardstown Presbyterian Cemetery.
