Obituary for Edmund Lowell Garner
Edmund Lowell Garner, 84, of Martinsburg passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018.
Born March 14, 1934 in Akron, Ohio he was the son of the late Joseph Kirby Garner and Matilda Lay Caporlett Garner.
He was a very self-reliant diesel mechanic his whole life; as well as an owner/operator truck driver. He often would rebuild cars, trucks, and even boats engines. He enjoyed fishing and taking trips to fish.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Stalnaker Garner; two sons, Edward Lowell Garner and wife, Nancy, Phillip Ray Crews and wife Lori Ann; one daughter, Andrea Russell and husband, Daniel; former daughter-in-law, Sandra Drake; four grandchildren, Phillip Ray Crews, II, Betty and Rebekah Russell; and Jennifer Cook; one brother, John Caporlett of Akron, OH; and nephew, Matthew Caporlett.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jean Garner.
Services and interment are private.
