Ronald Grove Watson, 71, of Charles Town, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Jefferson Medical Center.
Born August 13, 1947 in Charles Town, he was the son of the late Harlan Stanley Watson and Eleanor Beatrice (Powell) Watson.
He was a member of the Grace Reformed Church of Kearneysville.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, having served from 1966 to 1972, and was a member of the American Legion.
He was a graduate of Martinsburg High School, Class of 1965. He retired as service manager with Honeywell, Inc.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Dillow Watson; two daughters Lynn Renee' Watson and Lea Ann Burwell both of Charles Town; three grandchildren, Brianna N. Jarcy, Sierra M. Jarcy, and Joseph D. Burwell, II; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth P. Watson, of Erie, CO; and one sister, Janice L. Gilpin, of Tallahassee, FL; two step-granddaughters, Deborah Considine and Michelle Burwell; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at Edge Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11:00AM with Rev. Mike Lusby officiating.
Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home.
