Condolences

Condolence From: Franklin Petree
Condolence: Condolences to the entire family of "Bob" Butler, a truly remarkable man and one whom I feel blessed to have had as a friend. A more caring, kind hearted and genuinely sincere individual I cannot imagine.

As you grieve, please know that without grief there would have been no love and without love, life has no meaning. And as a famous Persian Poet once wrote: "only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing" and "when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance." With that in mind, I hope and pray you will find some degree of solace in knowing that Bob and his beloved Jean are together once again, singing and dancing in Paradise.

May God bless you all.

Condolence From: Kimberly Mongan-Saladini
Condolence: I was Mr. Butler's secretary for many years, at the Martinsburg Post Office. He spoke of his family every day. He spoke of the love of his life all of the time and always with a great big smile on his face.
He made coming to work every day a joy.
He rarely called me by my name but he called me "hun." I knew that he respected me at that moment because he called his wife hun. I felt like family.
The world has lost a good man but Heaven gained a great man with the kindest and most gentle soul

Thank you Mr. Butler for mentoring me and trusting me to be your secretary. It was my honor.

Prayers for your family, Kim
