Malcolm Lewis Cadd, Sr., 89, of Martinsburg, WV went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sue Webb Cadd and three children - Bonnie Smith (Gary), Eva “Jody” Cadd, and Malcolm Cadd Jr. (Christine); five grandchildren-Seth Moody, Ian Moody, Brandy Mixon, Sam Cadd, Sophie Cadd; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Louise Woolfolk and Shirley Fortune and 17 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four sisters – Reva Byrd, Ruth Walton, Ella Mae Stirman, and Nancy Pearson.

Malcolm, better known as Mac, was the son of the late George Herbert and Eva Virginia Arthur Cadd of Roanoke, VA. He attended Campbell College (now University) in Buies Creek, NC and the University of Richmond. He then attended Southeastern Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC before entering the ministry. Mac served as a pastor in Southern Baptist churches located in Virginia, North Carolina, and West Virginia for over 50 years.

He will forever be remembered for his dedicated service to his Lord and Savior and his sense of humor. Oh, how he loved to laugh.

Husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family rejoices that he has entered into the Kingdom of Heaven and due to his guidance, we will all be reunited there.

A memorial service in Mac’s honor will be held on Tuesday, November 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Second Baptist Church in Martinsburg, WV.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Martinsburg Rescue Mission.

Rest in peace Daddy. We love you.
