Ray Edward Walls, 83, of Kearneysville, WV, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 30, 2018.
Born on May 16, 1935 in Martinsburg, WV, he was the son of the late Samuel Clinton and Opal Clementise Younkers Walls.
He was a devoted member and deacon of Leetown Baptist Church.
He was the founder of Walls Burial Vault Co., LLC.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nora Lee Dick Walls; five sons, Samuel “Sam” Ray Walls and Paulette, William Craig Walls and Kimberly, Walter “Buddy” Lee Walls and Tammy, Christopher Steven Walls and Kathy, and Timothy Scott Walls and Missy; three daughters, Ginger Susan Stanley and Michael, Linda Gayle Walls; and Doris “Susie” Renee Mechanick and Tom; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lester W. Walls, Willard W. Walls, and Gary D. Walls; and his shadow Junior Grove
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Walls, three brothers, Virgil C. Walls, Junior W. Walls, and Roger L. Walls; and four sisters, Mary Belle Zimmerman, Estella Jean Sterling, Joan Marie Breeden, and Freda W. Blasingame.
Family will receive friends on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 3:30PM to 5:00PM and Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at 2:00PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Bucky Chapman and Pastor Chuck Donivan officiating. Interment will be in the Walls Family Cemetery in Kearneysville.
