Dorothy Houser, 87, of Martinsburg passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at her residence.

Born February 5, 1931 in Bakerton, WV she was the daughter of the late George Samuel Houser and Mary Elizabeth Morrison Mahoney.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; going out to eat her family and friends, and shopping.

She was a 50 plus member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Michael E. Houser; one daughter, Nancy Hilliard; two grandchildren, Renee Widmeyer Guyer and Vanessa Widmeyer; six great-grandchildren, Dylan Barrow, Mercedes Barrow, Derick Barrow, Takoda Guyer, Tasheena Guyer, and Alivia Carter; and two sisters, MaryLou Mari, and Patricia Doshier.

She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald D. Houser; and three brothers, Donald L. Houser, Joseph H. Mahoney, and John M. Mahoney.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary United Methodist Church with Pastor Lynn Wilson officiating.

Interment will be private.
