Douglas Steven Jordan, 42, of Great Cacapon passed away at his residence on Saturday, October 27, 2018.

Douglas was born on October 14, 1976 in Johnson City KS and was the son of Douglas A. Jordan of Winchester and Sharon Messiora Ridgeway and Ronald of Great Caccapon.

He was a Christian. Doug graduated from Berkeley Springs High School in 1994, where he was the WV State Wrestling Champion. He was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and kayaking. Doug was a talented drummer and loved music.

In addition to his parents he is survived by one son, Granite Jordan; one sister, Julianne Jordan of St. Petersburg, FL; one brother, Shaun Jordan and wife Christy of Columbia, PA; step sisters Rebecca Kuykendal and Kathy Thames of Great Cacapon, WV; two nephews, Ezra and Ellis; grandmother, Phyllis Messiora of Inwood, WV.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Retha Miller Jordan and William C. Jordan and grandfather, Steven A. Messiora.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Brown Funeral Home.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Snyder officiating.

Interment will be in Central Chapel Cemetery.
