We will always remember the many, many great times we had with Bud and his family at our home, his home, church and both our river homes. There was a large group of friends from Schmidt's that would gather together, and it was always fun. No one could tell funny stories like Bud and Betty. As much as Bud shared funny stories, Bud laughed, and it was so infectious. His stories and laughter brought me to tears, time after time. As much as he laughed, he was joyful. His faith was so strong and he spoke of his faith often. Even as early as childhood I always looked forward to seeing Bud because I knew he would have me laughing within minutes and everyone's mood was lifted. He was always eager and ready to share his faith and his joy and we were all the better for having Bud in our lives. Prayers are with the family.
