William E. Trexler, Sr., 84, of Boonsboro, MD passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Meritus Medical Center.

Born June 4, 1934 in WV he was the son of the late Darwin Trexler and Laura Ralston Trexler.

He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War.

He collected baseball cards, was a huge NASCAR fan, especially liked Dale Earnhardt, and he collected Brett Favre memorabilia.

He is survived by his wife Wynona Shook Trexler; two sons, Bill Trexler and wife, Jackie and John Trexler; three daughters, Veronica Trexler, Laura Zenrick and husband Kurt, Tammy Ardnt and husband Dennis; eighteen grandchildren, Katrina, Tammy, Tasha, Chris, Andrea, Jordan, Joshua, Christina, Lona and husband Andy, Rosemary, Emma, Charles, Mandy, Nathan, Matthew, Kurt, Jr, Tina, and Kitty; twenty one great-grand-children; two great-great grandchildren; one brother, Roger Trexler.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Jim and Jack Trexler; and two sisters Janet Trexler and Alice Lupis.

Services and interment will be private.
