Condolence: I am very sorry to hear of John's passing. We were friends growing up and I spent time with him at his parents home on Ball Road. Even though we did not keep in touch after high school, I thought of him periodically with fond memories. He was a great guy and good friend. I offer my sympathies and sincerest condolences to his entire family. I pray that God comforts you during this time of loss. Sincerely, Tom Andrews

Condolence: Jason, Theresa & family, I know the heart is heavy with grief and that John will be missed by many. Remember this, we are born to our first sunrise and then we pass our last sunset. But if we believe in God then we get a second sunrise never to pass again. John has received his second sunrise in heaven and in time we will join with him and all of our angels in heaven.

Condolence: Very Sorry to hear about John. I remember him as one of the most even-tempered, professional, highly qualified crew chiefs during my time with the 167th. He always had such a great outlook and sense of humor while performing his duties and I'm glad to see his efforts were rewarded by his high rank and stature in the unit. May his family and loved ones find peace in their remembrance of such a great man. He will be missed.

Condolence: John had more than all of the physical and intelectual attributes that our service requires of our senior NCO's. Such a soft spoken leader, fair but firm, compassionate, dedicated and committed to the mission and his airman. One of the finest I had the pleasure of serving. Save us a spot in your next wing. RIP Chief.
