Obituary for Steven Kisner

Steven Kisner, 61, of Martinsburg passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Born November 21, 1956 in Martinsburg, WV he was the son of the late Marshall Glenn and Elizabeth Miller Kisner.

He was a 1974 graduate of Martinsburg High School.

He was employed by Potomac Fish and Game Club for the last twenty-three years where he managed the kitchen.

He was an avid gardener and farmer and loved the land where he was born and raised.

Steve is survived by his wife, Joyce Townsend Kisner; two daughters, Danielle Ours and husband Anthony, and Breanne Kelley and husband Matt; four grandchildren, Colton Kelley, Madalynn Ours, Cullen Ours, and Austin Graham; two brothers, Larry Kisner and wife Sharon and Phillip Kisner and wife Karen; one sister, Winnie Kisner; numerous nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law Patricia Townsend.

He was preceded in death by a step-son, Robert Z. Quinn, III; and father-in-law Carl Townsend.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Cantley officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00AM to 12:00 Noon prior to the service. Interment will be private.
