Obituary for Jeffrey Willard "Piff" Newill

Jeffrey “Piff” Willard Newill, 27, of Bunker Hill, passed away in the arms of Angels and Saints after a prolonged battle with drug addiction on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

Born April 3, 1991 in Winchester, VA, he is the son of Clyde Allen Newill and Jenne “PJ” Sample Newill.

When he was younger his father called him Mr. Personality because he could make anyone laugh and smile. His mommy always called him her “hero”. On the evening he went to Heaven, his brother Joshua remarked that he lost his oldest friend. He loved his God, the United States of America, family, and friends. He was an avid skate boarder.

He was a graduate of Musselman High School.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Emerson Rose Marie Newill and her mother, Danielle Fann; two brothers, Joshua Clyde Newill and Christopher Dale Noreen (Stephanie); maternal grandmother, Gweneth T. Sample; two special aunts, Diana Gummo and Tammy Knouse; numerous cousins, nieces, and too many friends to count.

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 3:00PM at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to the WV Chapter of Biker’s Against Heroin, 49 Rhinestone Court, Martinsburg, WV 25405 or PayPal @ bikersagainstheroinwv@gmail.com.
