Obituary for Charles William "Buster Digger" Helsley Jr.
Charles William “Buster” “Digger” Helsley, Jr., 71, of Bunker Hill passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018.
Born December 5, 1946 in Martinsburg, WV he was the son of the late Charles William Helsley and Clara Barrett Helsley.
He was a veteran of the US Marines. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a member of Moose Lodge, Martinsburg.
He is survived by a daughter, Chrissy Glass and husband Paul; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Connor, and Noah Glass; and one sister, Linda Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Amelia Schnuit Helsley; one brother, George Helsley; and one sister, Lula Dawson.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Reverend. James D. Riley officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at Needmore.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Canine Humane Network, 13454 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 20777 www.caninehumane.org.
