The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kevin Newkirk can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Where do I even start... Kevin.. Im bringing a bag of Skittles with me tomorrow. And Ill make sure you have a bag too. I will miss you so so much. You were always so funny. Quick with a joke & your smile.. your smile lit up the room. You definitely grew on me & we became good friends. I will miss sitting with you at church and eating together. Ill miss you coming over to my house to hang out & Ill miss your goofy laugh. You always would tease me & say it would be weird to date me bc you have a sister named Elizabeth. Ill never forget the day we sat in church and laughed at all the silly stuff, or how kind you were to everyone. You were a good friend & we will all miss you dearly. I can just hear you now "why you gotta be sad for?"
Times like these are always tough. Kevin is the first friend i have lost. And it hurts. But i take comfort in knowing Kevin is walking with the Father. Hand in hand and is suffering no more.
And he probably has every kind of Skittles ever made too.
