The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Vivian Whalen can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolences

Condolence From: Janiah Miles
Condolence: My condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. Losing someone you love is truly difficult and I know Vivian will be missed. Please know our Heavenly Father holds out promises that can help us with our sorrow. One such promise is that death soon will be done away with forever (Revelation 21:4) and another promise is that "there is going to be a resurrection." (Acts 24:15) I pray these promises from God, who cannot lie, (Titus 1:2) bring you comfort.

Condolence From: Loving Granddaugther
Condolence: Granny,
I miss you so much already. I know you at peace with Jesus and no longer suffering. You were the best grandmother and I love you for always being there for me and loving me the way you did. I know you are up there with Daddy, Aunt Mary, Corbyn, your parents and siblings. Keep them company and tend your big garden in the sky...

I love you to the moon and forever....

Krista

A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest
It broke our hearts to see you go,
God only takes the best

They say that memories are golden,
Well may be that is true,
But we never wanted memories,
We only wanted you,

Your life was love and labour,
Your love for your family true,
You did your best for all of us,
We will always remember you.

We sat beside your bedside,
Our hearts were crushed and sore,
We did our duty to the end,
‘Til we could do no more.

In tears we watched you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
And though our hearts were breaking,
We knew you could not stay.

Our lips cannot speak how we loved you,
Our hearts cannot tell what to say,
But God only knows how we miss you,
In our home that is lonely today.
