Obituary for Loretta Ann Knighten (Mason)

Loretta Ann Knighten, 84, of Hedgesville, WV passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2018.

Loretta was born on August 31, 1933 in Jefferson County and was the daughter of the late Walter Mason and Cora Belle Weidman Mason.

She is survived by one son; Robert Lee Knighten II; five daughters; Linda Kay Penwell, Theresa Ann Hopkins, Yvonne Gail Hess, Marsha Lee Smith and Annette Gay White and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Knighten; two daughters; Joyce Elise Vanorsdale and Renee Lynn Householder; and two grandchildren; Chez Clinton Hopkins and Donald Lee Redman.

She is the last of her immediate family.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Donivan officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
