Arnold S.  Vincent Sr.
Arnold Dearmont Vincent, Sr., 81, of Martinsburg, WV and formerly of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Clary Grove Nursing Home, Martinsburg, WV.
Born on April 14, 1936, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Evelyn Vincent Easterday and Ollie Vincent.
He was a graduate of Hagerstown High School and entered the United States Marine Corp. at a young age. He served in the Korean War.
Arnold retired from Mack Trucks and ARC of Washington County. He was of the Christian Faith.
He loved sports, fishing, boating and collecting cars, He coached little league baseball and Junior basketball.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Eugenia “Genie” Vincent of Martinsburg, WV and formerly of Hagerstown, MD; eight children, Vicki, Bobbi, Patti, Arnold II, Christi, Frank, Dianna, and Stephanie; nineteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and brother, Dennis Easterday and wife, Cindy of Smithsburg, MD.
Per Arnold’s wishes his body will be donated to science.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be announced at a later date.
