Catherine Virginia Crouse, 80, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Bunker Hill, WV passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Paoli Hospital in Pennsylvania.

Born August 15, 1937 in Gerrardstown, WV she was the daughter of the late Harry Porter and Mazie Melissa Barrett Palmer.

Catherine had retired after 35 years with Smalleys Packaging Company in Berryville, VA.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Junior Crouse; one son, Scott "Randy" Thompson and wife, Candy; three daughters, Faith Diane Griffin, Sandra Lynne Holliday, Robin Renee Burgess and husband David; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, James Timothy Thompson; a granddaughter, Theresa Wilkinson; two grandsons, Levi Holliday and Eric Thompson; and six siblings.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday August 29, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley in Inwood.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at South Berkeley Chapel Inwood with Pastor Gary Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
