Shelly Ann Shade, 51, of Martinsburg, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017.

Born June 7, 1966 in Martinsburg, she is the daughter of James Edward Clark and Peggy Haggerty Clark.

She was a member of Hungry Hikers Club. She was an avid hiker on the Appalachian Trail and the Adirondacks. She was a friend to everyone and had a smile for all.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, L. Scott Shade; one son, Bradley Scott Shade and wife, Laura; three grandchildren, Avery Copenhaver, Tyler and Alayna Shade; one sister, Cindi Douglas; one nephew, Blake Douglas; one niece, Morgan Douglas; and favorite pet, Benji.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 3:30PM at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Dearing officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service on Sunday from 2:30PM to 3:30PM at the funeral home.
