Obituary for Samuel Denison Gheen

Samuel Denison Gheen, 66 of Ranson passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 in the Hospice Inpatient Facility. Born March 13, 1951 in Arlington, Virginia he was the son of the late Warren Denison Gheen and Blanche Jenkins Gheen. He was of Methodist faith. A husband, father, grandfather, brother and cherished friend. He lived life his own unique way always putting his family first, instilling his values and wisdom in his children and through them his grandchildren. He loved his Harley, RV’s and watching western movies. He is survived by his wife, Jill Warren Jackson Gheen at home, four daughters, Kim Harman and husband Andy of Charles Town, Christina Lincoln and husband Travis of Remington, Virginia, Geanine Shick of Ranson and Dori Sorrell and fiancé Jamie Glenn of Martinsburg, one brother, Joseph Gheen and wife Gertrude of Winchester, Virginia, two sisters, Juanita Monaghan of Manassas, Virginia and Judy Hoskins and husband Wayne of Tennessee, four grandchildren, Sammie, Victor, Jack and Nicholas. A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the Jefferson Chapel with the Reverend Rick Shuman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
