Audrey Nellene Pitzer LeDane, 90, of Gerrardstown, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014, in the presence of her immediate family at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born July 23, 1924, at Thunder Hill Farm in Inwood she was the daughter of the late Harry James Pitzer and Nellie Elizabeth (Horner) Pitzer.

Mrs. LeDane was a member of the Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the Presbyterian Women.

Devoted to family, she was a life-long homemaker at Brookside Farm.

She was a former 4-H Leader and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the United Commercial Travelers.

She is survived by her husband, 68 years, Richard (Dick) I. LeDane; two daughters, Harriet Kopp and husband, William, of Gerrardstown and Patricia Fraker and husband, Jeffrey, of Leesburg, VA; two grandchildren, Christopher Kopp and wife, Amanda, of Leesburg, VA, and Aaryn Kopp of Washington, DC; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan and Adelina Kopp.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David James Pitzer.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22th, at Gerrardstown Presbyterian Church with the Rev. John Cushwa officiating. Interment will be held at the Presbyterian Cemetery at Gerrardstown.
