Shirley Frances (Dove) Shirley, 87, of Tomahawk, passed away March 25, 2019 at Berkeley Medical Center
Born February 12, 1932 in Tomahawk, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Gratten Dove and Maddie Ethel (Shipe) Dove.
She was the widow of John W. Shirley Sr., also of Tomahawk.
She was a lifetime member of the Tomahawk Christian Church.
She is survived by her two sons, Robert W. Shirley, and David W. Shirley, Sr., both of Tomahawk; one daughter, Connie D. Shirley Statler and husband, Gary of Tomahawk; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joyce Gonano and husband, Roland of Hedgesville, and Ina Byers and husband, Max, of Richmond, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by one son John W. Shirley Jr.; two sisters Wanda Beall and Velma Stuckey.
Family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home Friday March 29, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Services and Interment will be private.
