Unrelenting Love

My brother, John( Bump-it), was the first of his siblings to go to Heaven to be with his Lord and Savior. I find that to be so fitting that he is the first to go to be with The Lord, because he also was the first of us siblings to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. I will be eternally grateful for his fervor, zeal and unrelenting witness to all of his family members and friends. He was not satisfied to just tell you about having a personal relationship with Jesus ,he hounded all of his siblings, mother, father, his friends, his siblings friends, and just anyone with an ear to come to know Jesus. He didn't stop until he knew that you came to that very same personal relationship with Jesus. As an example, of his zeal for His Lord and a concern for our eternal souls, I remember one day, standing in the kitchen and seeing him outside of the closed bathroom door talking to my mother who was in the bathroom, about her need to accept Jesus. Oh, how we all needed that kind of tenacity and zeal for souls! His spiritual eyes were opened, he was made clean by the blood of Jesus, and he entered into a personal relationship with Jesus. He so deeply loved his Savior and his family, he was not about to let us just brush off the most important choice of our life. Bump knew that he was saved and going to heaven when he passed from this earth, and he wanted to make sure that we were going to be there with him! I am eternally grateful to have a little brother who loved us so much that he never gave up on us! He was our little brother and he became our great big spiritual brother now leading the way to our heavenly home! That way is through accepting Jesus Christ as personal Savior and repenting of your sins and walking in obedience to God' s Word. As Bumpit would sometimes ask, " How are you doing with the Lord?" I miss him so much already, but he shared the best that a brother could ever share with a sister that will last forever and ever, and that is ...Jesus! And now I share what you have shared with me! Thank you Bump! I am eternally grateful! I Love You Forever! XXOO
