Edgar Cecil Miller, 94, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born August 22, 1924 in Berkeley County, WV, he was the son of the late Theodore Burton and Lillie Barrett Miller.
He was a World War II United States Army veteran.
He was retired from the VA Medical Center after 35 years of service.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Barron and husband, Gene, and Sharon Riggs and husband, Raymond; four sons, Michael W. and wife, Ruby, Glenn K., and Troy E. Miller and Edgar C. Miller, Jr.; ten grandchildren, Danny, Jimmy, and Kevin Barron, Scotty Cook, Michael Miller, Annette Donivan, Michelle Sailliez, TJ, Jessica, and Jason Miller; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and companion, Toby.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Elizabeth Miller; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Charles and Bruce Miller; four sisters, Elsie Marie Miller, Anna Elizabeth Youtz, Gladys Barrett, and Betty Hammersley.
Family will receive friends on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Ken Walker officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
