Harold Hopewell Artz, Jr., 71, of Harpers Ferry, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018, at the Jefferson Medical Center. Born May 14, 1947, in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Harold Hopewell Artz and Dorothy Stewart Artz.
He was an assistant supervisor in Shop 2, at the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority, Dulles Airport.
He is survived by his wife, Bridget Wilson Artz, at home; one son, Joseph Artz, of Warrenton, VA; two daughters: Makayla Artz, of Harpers Ferry, and Donna Frazier, also of Warrenton; one sister, Deborah King, and husband Arthur, their children, Michelle and Michael, of Herndon, VA; four grandchildren: Hunter, Winston, RJ, and Taylor, and former wives, Ruth Taylor and Julia Artz.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements by Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home.
